About cryogenic globe valves
Cryogenic globe valves throttle and isolate on liquefied gas systems at very low temperatures. An extended bonnet isolates the packing from the cold, and the linear disc-to-seat action gives reliable regulation and tight shut-off through severe thermal contraction. Bodies are austenitic stainless steel to standards such as BS 6364. Provide the bore, pressure class, the medium, the minimum temperature and whether the duty is throttling or isolation for a suitable valve.
