About flange adaptors
A flange adaptor converts the plain end of a pipe into a flanged connection without welding or threading, gripping the pipe outside diameter and compressing a sealing ring against it. Wide-tolerance designs take up the differences in outside diameter between pipe materials of the same nominal bore, so a valve or fitting can be connected to steel, ductile iron, PVC or PE pipe. They are made in ductile iron with fusion-bonded epoxy coating and EPDM or NBR seals. Provide the pipe outside diameter, material and pressure for a suitable adaptor.
