Actuation options
Description
Gravity/weight-operated self-closing valve available in straight (VAKD-16) and angle (VAKK-16) configurations. Rated to PN16 and covering DN15 to DN100. End connections conform to DIN EN 1092-1-2 with face-to-face dimensions per DIN 3356/2-F1 (straight) and DIN 3356/2-F32 (angle).
Selection notes
This self closing valve is a straight type, angle type and gravity/weight closing pattern, supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN15 to DN100, in PN16.
The body is offered in GGG40, GGG40.3, GSC25 and Bronze RG5, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are AISI 304, AISI 316, Bronze RG5 and Duplex. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
