Description
A ductile iron body sluice valve with non-rising stem design and resilient rubber-seated wedge for tight shutoff under fluctuating flow conditions. Available in sizes DN50 to DN1200 at PN10/PN16 pressure ratings. Internal and external surfaces are epoxy-coated for corrosion protection.
Selection notes
This gate valve is a sluice valve, non-rising stem and resilient seated pattern, supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1200, in PN10, PN16.
The body is offered in Cast Iron, Ductile Iron and ductile iron (DI), so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are EPDM and NBR. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include chemicals, air, water, steam, oil and acids.
It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater.
Working temperature is -10°C to 120°C.
Built to DIN3352 F4/F5, MSS SP-70, AWWA C509/515, BS5163 and DIN3202 F4/F5.
