Description

A wafer-type tilting disc check valve designed for installation between flanges conforming to DIN EN 1092. Available in pressure ratings PN10, PN16, and PN25, with body materials including grey cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, and bronze. Operating temperature range is -10°C to +120°C.

Selection notes

This check valve is a wafer type and tilting disc pattern, supplied for wafer installation.

Sizes run DN40 to DN1000, in PN10, PN16, PN25.

The body is offered in GG 25, GS-C 25, AISI 304 and AISI 316, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are Welded 13 Cr, Stellite 6 and Stellite 21. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

It is catalogued for Industrial Process.

Working temperature is -10°C to 120°C.

Built to DIN EN 558-1-16, API 598, DIN EN 12266 and DIN EN 1092.

VWTD configurations

View full VWTD system →
This product is part of the VWTD modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing VWTD body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
