Stop Check Valves

A stop-check valve combines the functions of a globe valve and a non-return valve: it can be closed on demand like a stop valve and, when open, still prevents reverse flow like a check valve. This dual action makes it a common choice on boiler feed lines and on the discharge of parallel pumps and boilers, where each unit must be isolated and protected against backflow. Bodies are made in cast and forged steel and bronze to standards such as BS 1873. Provide the bore, pressure class, medium and temperature for a suitable valve.
