About lift check valves
A lift check valve prevents reverse flow using a disc that is guided vertically off its seat by forward flow and drops back under gravity and back-pressure when flow stops. The guided, short-travel action gives reliable sealing on smaller-bore, higher-pressure lines, and horizontal and vertical patterns suit different pipe layouts. Bodies are made in cast and forged steel, stainless steel and bronze to standards such as EN 12334 or API 594. Provide the bore, pressure rating, medium and installation orientation for a suitable valve.
