About cryogenic butterfly valves
Cryogenic butterfly valves provide compact isolation and control in liquefied gas systems at very low temperatures. An extended stem isolates the packing from the cold, and disc, seat and body materials are chosen to hold sealing through severe thermal contraction. Their light weight and compact face-to-face suit large-bore LNG and industrial gas lines. Bodies are typically stainless steel to standards such as BS 6364. Provide the bore, pressure rating, medium and minimum temperature for a suitable configuration.
