Description
A cast lifting check valve in which the disc slides along the vertical centreline of the valve body; forward flow lifts the disc via fluid thrust, whilst cessation or reversal of flow causes the disc to close under gravity and reverse fluid pressure to prevent backflow. A guide sleeve is fitted to ensure smooth disc travel and accurate re-seating. The valve features a bolted cover, hardface metal-to-metal seating, and is suitable for a wide range of media and working conditions.
