Axial Flow Check Valves

The axial-flow (nozzle) check valve closes a spring-loaded disc over a very short, in-line travel as forward flow decelerates, sealing before the flow reverses. This near-instant closure largely eliminates the disc slam and water hammer that a conventional swing check can cause, which is why it is the preferred non-return valve on pump discharge lines and rising mains where surge is a concern. Bodies are typically ductile iron or steel with stainless internals. Provide the bore, pressure rating and flow data so we can size it correctly.
