Features

  • The A10A altitude control valve fills elevated storage tanks and water towers by sensing the hydrostatic pressure at the tank connection
  • When the tank reaches the high-level set point, the pilot closes the main valve; when the level drops to the low set point, it reopens
  • Fully hydraulic operation - no electrical power or float mechanism inside the tank is required

Description

The A10A is an altitude control configuration of the A900 main valve body, fitted with a P800 altitude pilot. The pilot derives the water level in an elevated tank or tower from the hydrostatic pressure at the base connection: when the tank is full the pilot closes the main valve; when level drops to the low set point it reopens. Fully hydraulic operation requires no electrical power and no float mechanism inside the structure. A float valve switch accessory can be added for high-level alarm or SCADA telemetry.
