Double flange design with a disc composed of a ductile iron plate, stainless steel bar shaft and nylon-reinforced fabric
Rubber disc totally encapsulated in NBR rubber for superior sealing and corrosion resistance
Nylon fabric reinforcement prevents disc cracking and breaking during operation
40-degree declined swing seat enables quick closure and minimises water hammer and slamming
Shorter stroke reduces water hammer; flap disc rises above the flow profile to reduce wear
All iron parts coated in fusion-bonded epoxy resin
Top-entry cover allows access for cleaning, replacement and maintenance

Description

Resilient rubber disc for waterworks and irrigation. The RDCV uses a flexible rubber disc that deflects to allow forward flow and returns to seat on flow reversal. The all-rubber disc provides tight shut-off without a metal disc that could damage seat surfaces. Suitable for clean water distribution, irrigation networks and low-pressure applications. Simple construction with no external bearings, pivots or springs.
