Description

A cast globe valve (throttle stop valve) comprising a valve body, valve cover, valve flap, and valve stem. A handwheel applies torque to the valve stem, moving the valve flap axially to achieve full-open, full-closed, and flow-regulating positions. The valve flap does not contact the valve seat until final closure, reducing seat wear and extending service life.
